“My personal experience with Air Distribution Systems has been nothing less than spectacular.”
My personal experience with Air Distribution Systems has been nothing less than spectacular. I have worked with ADS on many large and smaller projects, $15 million and under, and we’ve recently had the pleasure of having ADS on our team at a $10 million classroom and laboratory project with a chilled beam design, for the University of Pennsylvania. This was a complicated project, with a tight schedule in an active facility, which was successfully completed on time due in no small part to the excellent performance of Air Distribution Systems.
On these projects Herman Goldner Company was fortunate to have ADS on our team. I have 39 years’ experience in the mechanical construction industry, all in the Philadelphia market, so I have worked with most of the sheet metal contractors serving this area. On every project where we have partnered with ADS their performance has been outstanding.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with their President, Greg Doyle, and I realized in short order that Greg and his team are excellent at what they do, and they are indeed one of the very best contractors I have ever worked with. Their professional “get it done” attitude, prompt response to project matters, and attention to detail is unsurpassed.
While preparing submittals and coordination drawings Air Distribution Systems effectively identifies design concerns, offers solutions, and works closely with the project team to resolve project difficulties. When it’s time to install, ADS rises to the occasion with on time delivery of fabrication, and a properly assembled workforce to keep things running smoothly, while working with other onsite contractors to assure well-organized coordinated installation of the work.
As a result, Air Distribution Systems has become one of our preferred contractors to partner with when providing high quality, on time projects, to our valued customers.
Ted McHugh – West Chester Mechanical Contractors, Inc.
“ADS has been nothing but an exemplary contractor in all aspects of the word.”
Over the years I have had the great pleasure of working with Air Distribution Systems on many complex and comprehensive projects involving laboratory renovations, infrastructure upgrades and new building construction. ADS has been nothing but an exemplary contractor in all aspects of the word.
Their attentiveness to detail and responsiveness are what sets them apart from other contractors. We have recently had the opportunity to team up on multiyear, multi building infrastructure upgrade at the University of Pennsylvania Van Pelt Dietrich Libraries. This was a 13 phase project that involved constant attention and planning. ADS was key player in scheduling and coordination of this work and with their help, we are due to finish the project ahead of schedule.
ADS employees a great team of project managers, CAD draftsmen and submittal & RFI coordinators who ensure the job gets done correctly and with proper communication. In addition, President Greg Doyle is involved in all aspects of the project from inception to closeout. Having worked with many of the sheet metal contractors in the Philadelphia area, I can confidently say that Air Distribution Systems workmanship and management stands out among competitors.

“The finish line is close, and I know that ADS will help us cross it!”
I know it has been a long journey over at Comcast the past few years, which seems like forever, but I wanted to just reach out and commend your firm’s ability to persevere and work as a team on such a challenging project. By no means has this project been a walk in the park. I do not believe we would have been able to accomplish such a challenging scope of work without the help, professionalism, and expertise from ADS.
All facets of your company have helped push this project along and overcome both simple and difficult hurdles. From your sketching department, to your administration staff, everyone is extremely responsive and timely with getting the best answer that will push the project along. I know I can pick up the phone and call you at any time and you will answer. Even when I called you and you are on your family camping trip, you take care of what needs to be taken care of.
Thank you for your firms ability to get it done and do so in the most professional matter, even when the odds were stacked against (literally like stacking cooling towers on top of each other and requiring special plenum construction).
The finish line is close, and I know that ADS will help us cross it! Thank you.
Tony Capella – Falasca Mechanical
“I have also worked with many sheet metal contractors in my career and they are certainly on my A list in comparison to others.”
On behalf of Falasca Mechanical, I will attest to the outstanding workmanship, cooperation and industry knowledge for ADS. Their project management, supervision, sketching, and crew are currently performing the fabrication and install for Falasca at the “Camden Partners Tower”, an 18 story high rise in Camden NJ as our sheet metal subcontractor. They are on schedule in coordination and field performance on an aggressively scheduled project. I will not hesitate to work with them and their team on future projects. I have also worked with many sheet metal contractors in my career and they are certainly on my A list in comparison to others.
Please have anyone concerned on their ability to perform contact me at any time.

“The entire staff’s level of cooperation and professionalism is second to none.”
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of reference for ADS Sheetmetal. I have been fortunate to work directly with you, your project management, BIM and field staff on very complex and phased projects over the last (6) years for the University of Penn and currently Thomas Jefferson University at Alumni Hall. The entire staff’s level of cooperation and professionalism is second to none.
When we started the planning process with the Ryan Veterinary Hospital project at the University of Penn, we knew that a major renovation project with 67 phases within an occupied and active animal hospital, while removing and replacing (5) major air handlers was going to be a logistical challenge. Not only did your team meet all of the challenges along the way, they were also vital in helping to support the ventilation and temperature needs of the doctors, researchers and animals. P. Agnes considers this project to be one of the strongest collaboration efforts between CM, subcontractor and owner to date and ADS was a very big part of this accomplishment.
When we started planning the TJU Alumni Hall project, currently under construction, we could see that we were up for another major logistical challenge. A significant MEP infrastructure project within an occupied animal research center. When all of the dust settled during estimating, I was very fortunate that you were awarded the sheet metal portion of the project.
To date, your entire team has been a pleasure to work with. Always thinking about the smart way to perform and offering insight that benefits everyone involved on the project.
With all of this said, I hold ADS in the highest regard. Your team is always up for the challenge, whether it be a tight schedule or challenging conditions. ADS always performs, is willing to help the job and ensures that the craftsmanship is top notch. There is a comfort level that comes with having ADS on the project. That starts with you at the top and resonates from everyone within your firm being thorough, trustworthy, responsive and professional.
